excellent We had a wonderful stay in Poilio and thank Home in Italy for all your help. We received a very warm welcome on arrival from Maadi, the owner, and found the villa to be of a high standard. The views were spectacular and we loved the pool, jacuzzi and hammocks. We'll be back! |

good We had a wonderful time at the villa in Umbria. I stayed another week in Italy and am just now at home in the US. The villa is lovely, well equipped, comfortable, inviting, and a perfect setting. A few had trouble with the directions to the villa. We suggest that you add directions from Guardea, the nearest town. It is easy to get to the villa from there and Guardea is a town that guests could find on a map if they got lost. The orientation for the villa was great and the owner called a few times to ensure all was well, very thoughtful of her. I trust she was satisfied with the condition in which we left it. |

excellent Sorry for the delay in getting you this feedback, life has been a little hectic since we got back. Firstly can I say that the service we received from yourselves at Home In Italy has been first class, Thankyou. With some trepidation we headed off to the villa from Rome, we had invited some friends to join us for the second week and I got quite stressed on the way worrying that the villa would have the same problems as the apartment. I couldn’t have been more wrong. We got lost, though I feel that was more to do with our map reading than to do with the instructions, but when we eventually got there we were absolutely delighted. The situation was stunning, and the villa itself was delightful. We met the owners who were very helpful. The accommodation was excellent, beautifully decorated and well equipped. Clearly the renovations had been done to a very high standard. The pool was brilliant, spotlessly clean and very well kept surrounding area. We had a wonderful relaxing time, we had a small child with us this week and couldn’t eat out in the evenings, but that wasn’t a problem, I adore cooking and cooking in that well equipped kitchen with plenty of fresh herbs in the garden (which the owner said we could help ourselves to) was an absolute delight. The local village (Guardea) had all we needed and was only a few minutes away in the car. The internet worked (much to my teenage daughters delight, and while she didn’t use it all that much it was handy that she could) In summary we had a lovely time and felt really relaxed. I hope you find this helpful. This was a holiday of a lifetime for us, we saved for a long time and while I realize they wern’t your most expensive properties, it was expensive for us, but we wanted the best we could afford. The position of Balconi was excellent and despite the problems it was lovely little place (though we felt it could have been made so much nicer) and Poilio was fantastic. I would recommend you to friends without hesitation. Thanks again. Ange Seddon |

excellent We had a fantastic time at the villa and would return in the future. It was extremely well furnished and tastefully decorated through out. The housekeeper and gardener were very helpful. We had a wonderful local chef who was organised for us by the owner and the owner herself was very attentive in checking everything was to our satisfaction. |

very good Hi Sonia The Courets informed me that they had a lovely holiday in both villas (Casa degli Artisti & Poilio) but would advise that the owner of Casa degli Artisti put mosquito screens on the windows. |
