Troscione, a delightful farmhouse consisting of a villa and a guest annex from the 1800s, is immersed in one of the most stunning countryside areas of the Umbria region a 10 minute drive from Todi. Delightfully and tastefully restored to a high level of comfort, Troscione maintains the original characteristics of the old farmhouse with wooden beams on the ceilings, terracotta floors and some internal walls still in their original stone. From the living and dining rooms there is direct access to the furnished patio, ideal for enjoying meals ‘al fresco’ while admiring the spectacular views.
All the rooms have been furnished in an elegant country style and all the bathrooms have been well renovated. From the top floor there is access to the lovely and cosy tower transformed into an intimate double bedroom with en suite bathroom. The pool is positioned a few metres from the villa overlooking the most panoramic side of the property.
The property is surrounded by 7 hectares of land including the large well tended area of lawn around the villa and the guest annex, and in the distance farming fields with a few country houses can be admired. A gravel road in moderate condition leads to the tree-lined short private driveway.

excellent I have nothing but praise for Home in Italy, Troscione and our housekeeper/cook Agusta. What a great vacation we had. The home is beautiful beyond words. Augsta is cheerful and a wonderful cook. It was the best vacation I ever had.

very good The property was superb. The building itself, the location and the grounds were fabulous.Superb location, lots of history and culture in Todi and Umbria in general. No one spoke English fantastic! No heavy on tourism, or it didn’t seem so.A map as well as directions would have been useful when we arrived. Exellent service.A superb holiday, a great introduction to Italy and we will go again many times.
