Situated in a dominating position close to the top of a hill, only a few kilometres away from Tuscany, Villa Ada is a splendid villa, comprising a large stone farmhouse (main villa) and its annex (guest house), just 40 metres away, each with its own private driveway.
Set in a large garden, each of the houses has a well-equipped pergola for dining outdoors, with stunning views of the surrounding countryside. Large picture windows in the living area of both houses allow one to enjoy the panorama of the rolling Umbrian hills.
The interiors have been finely restored with prestigious materials: antique doors, 18th Century oak-beamed ceilings, stone fireplaces and old terracotta floors. The property has been tastefully yet comfortably furnished with some beautiful antiques and with quality furnishings.
The swimming pool is situated on a raised terrace next to the villa. A shared hard tennis court located in an exclusive club can be used by the guests of Villa Ada (3 min by car).
Spectacular views, tranquil sunsets and a relaxed quality of life, all have been the inspiration of the owners, enchanted with the area and Villa Ada.
Here, in the area of Cortona - Umbertide, you can experience the best of many worlds - medieval towns, recommended restaurants (one of those at walking distance) and trattorias, golf, wine tasting – all within easy access of Villa Ada.
Its strategic geographical position allows you to visit many places of artistic and architectural interest such as Cortona, Siena and Gubbio.
During the low season, it is possible to rent either the main villa or the guest house separately, whilst the other will remain vacant during your stay. It is a highly recommended property.

It is also possible to organize Yoga lessons and Taichi Qi Gong lessons for 120 Euro per lesson for the whole group that will partecipate. Ballon ride for 300 Euro per person (min. 2 people), take-off points are Lake Trasimeno, Assisi or Todi.

The tennis court is available for guests use, during the weeks it is open from 8.30am - 7pm, closed on Sunday. It is possible to book the tennis court 15 minutes beforehand, it is not possible to book more in advance.

excellent Dear Monina, Everybody thoroughly enjoyed their stay at the Villa Ada. Both properties were beautiful, with stunning surroundings and amazing views. The weather was fantastic all week so everybody made great use of the pool. We visited Gubbio, Assisi and the Lake which were also all beautiful places. The wine tasting proved slightly harder to arrange than we had expected so we only went to the local one once, which was a shame. I will fill in the questionnaire and fax it to you. It was an amazing week and we would recommend it to anyone. The property was Fantastic! Once again, kind regards and many thanks for all your help with our trip. Julia Halliwell

excellent Villa Ada exceeded all of our expectations - the villas themselves, the location, the stunning panoramas, and the convenience to the treasures of Umbria and Tuscany were spectacular. We were able to shop the local markets for fresh produce, and enjoyed preparing meals then dined beneath the pergola every day. The owner was available and responsive to our needs, which were few since the property is very well maintained and equipped. Our only regret is that we could not stay longer -we will remember fondly our visit to this magical place, and long for our return someday - Mille grazie - Tom and Lisa Boniface

excellent 8 of us stayed in Villa Ada for a week at the start of September 2007. We had a great time and really enjoyed our stay. What a beautiful Villa with a great pool and gardens. Its only a short drive to the nearest good sized town and the local restaurant was really good. Everybody was very nice and extremely help and I would recommend it highly.

excellent We spent a lovely week there, 3-10 July. The weather was really hot. The villa was more than met expectations. The most interesting aspect of the place was the picturesque setting of the property.

excellent I stayed here last year with friends who had rented this villa and so when I planned to take a group of friends and my family, I already knew which villa I wanted. But it was so good to find that this trip was even better than the one before! The villa was in great shape and we were introduced to this couple who has opened a small restaurant just down the hill from the villa. The food was superb! And they also catered to the villa. They provided our welcome dinner. Everyone had a great time and the weather was perfect! We will all be happy to recommend this villa to family and friends.
