This villa must be recommended to lovers of baroque art. It is located in the peaceful countryside between Noto and Modica, two towns famous for the splendour of their buildings and for their richly decorated squares and churches.
Surrounded by palms, fruit trees and olive trees, "Oliveto" is a farmhouse that was restored in 2009 and is part of a property which features a private, unfenced park of 13 hectares. Although the villa is furnished in the simple style typical of traditional Sicily, it offers air conditioning in every room, internet, a very spacious kitchen with direct access to the pool area and a bedroom with facilities for the disabled.
The villa is on only one floor, the ground floor. "Oliveto" has a pool of about 80 square metres which is situated in front of the villa. Just by it is a gazebo used for outdoor meals with a BBQ close at hand.
The villa has 4 bedrooms, one of which with three beds and all of them with en-suite bathroom and airconditioning.
One of the bedrooms - with external access - is composed of two individual but inter-connected spaces and has five beds. Richly decorated, antique Sicilian wrought iron beds give the bedrooms a feeling of times past.
The backdrop of the hills and the colours of nature afford a sense of peace and tranquillity and the seaside and sandy beaches are only 25 km away. The beach by Noto is of particular interest as it features a nature reserve where you can go bird-watching or spend time on clean, uncontaminated sandy beaches.
The villa is suitable for children, the elderly or the disabled.
